If you have a facelifted BMW i3 manufactured after 2018 and want a factory large display system, there is only one solution for the upgrade. You also need to upgrade the iDrive unit under the rear seat because the “business” unit installed in newer cars that handles the small display no longer supports any larger i3 display, the hardware is not suitable for it. In older cars manufactured before 2018, it was enough to simply change the display to the wide version and recode the resolution. This is no longer possible here.

We offer a complete plug and play solution for this, with an OEM display and an iDrive ID6 unit. You don’t have to do any wiring, you don’t have to solder and you don’t have to convert or code anything. You simply replace the monitor and the iDrive unit according to the enclosed description and everything will work 100%, including ConnectedDrive things.
