Yes. The MMI V7 is compatible with all BMW i3 models (I01) from 2014 to 2022, including the i3s and i3 REx. It works with all four head unit variants used in the i3.
The installation is very quick — typically 5–15 minutes. The module is always installed under the rear seat using plug-and-play connectors, with no coding tools or special equipment required. We provide a detailed printed guide, video tutorials, and live WhatsApp support if you get stuck.
No. The MMI V7 is designed to integrate seamlessly with your factory system. Your iDrive, navigation, Bluetooth handsfree, factory USB, radio, and all other functions continue to work exactly as before. The module adds CarPlay and Android Auto on top of your existing system.
All our products ship from within the EU, so orders delivered inside the EU are VAT-inclusive with no additional customs fees. For orders shipped outside the EU (UK, US, Australia, etc.), the buyer is responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by their country. We declare the actual value on all shipments.
If you order from outside the EU, you are eligible to use the coupon code “CUTTAX” at checkout — it provides a $30 contribution toward your import costs.
We ship worldwide via DHL Express from Hungary. Typical delivery times are 1–2 business days within the EU, 3–5 business days to the UK and US, and 5–7 business days to Australia, Asia, and other destinations. You receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.
Absolutely. We offer live support via WhatsApp and iMessage during installation. You can send photos or videos of your progress and receive real-time guidance. Most customers complete the installation without any help, but we are always available if you need us.
